Über Gudrun Schmid
Gudrun Schmid studied Educational Sciences at the University of Innsbruck and has taught at a number of secondary and technical schools. She established the Provincial Administration's Family Education Department and has launched pioneering projects including "Südtiroler Elternbriefe" (South Tyrolean Letters to Parents) and "Bookstart - Babys lieben Bücher" (Bookstart - Babies love Books). Today she works for the German-Language Education Department. Evi Gasser is a qualified commercial artist. To date, her vibrant, beautiful illustrations have appeared in over 60 children's books. She works for national and international publishers, and also designs greetings cards, mascots and much, much more. She lives in Kastelruth, South Tyrol, with her husband and two daughters.
